You may be a little unsure that a story can make someone feel this way--but the anger of the writer was very clear to me, especially when they discussed bland prompts making for boring writing. I understand the craving for writing prompts that spark something spectacular, not simply boring content. And the bit where it discussed us always scribbling down things about ordinary items, like phones or vacations, both made me laugh and made me wonder. It’s basically pushing us to dig deeper rather than sticking to easy, shallow topics. It’s a solid nudge for all of us who write to chase after things that are not only interesting but downright fascinating.
