When I read this article, it felt like it was speaking directly to me. Specifically how jobs treat people with young people vs. those without really opened my eyes to something really not fair that not a significant quotient of people think about; the article pointed out how single people at work don't get the same breaks - their schedules are extremely strict and sometimes their leaders just don't understand.
It's basically great to see someone finally saying we need to be kinder and more flexible with everyone at work, whether they have a family or not; the ideas for making work better for everyone—such as letting people choose their hours a little more and reconfiguring the rules on taking time off—are definitely things that should happen.
As we keep trying to make things better and easier, or, in very simple terms, it is wonderful that you're highlighting an important problem and really pushing for changes that'll help everyone have a fairer shot at balancing work and life; thanks for sticking up for a nicer, fairer workplace for all of us🤍
