Reading your piece amazed me, honestly. The bit where you discussed how antiquated church material doesn't always line up with the tough times people go through – that hit home. You have a way of separating being spiritual from just being religious that really opens up a new perspective.

I never thought about it before--but there is a profound and deep-seated certainty that being different, and thinking for ourselves, is actually of significant consequence in spirituality. You included this intelligent and informed point about how it may have once seemed unfathomable--but we know that it's not about getting God to pat us on the back for singing the loudest in church; it's more about showing gratitude.

And then, you dove into how being an atheist can sometimes get as twisty as being extremely religious, which made a large amount of sense. Thanks for putting it all in the area – it’s given me a lot to chew on🤍
