Reading about your trip to Northwestern India was extremely spectacular. You made me feel as if I was in Jaipur with you, looking at Amer Fort and the Hawa Mahal, eating amazing food, and walking through the busy streets. It was wonderful how you made each location pop with your stories. Now, if you want to get even more out of your trip, think about convening with local guides; they know all the marvelous, hidden stories and can give you the skinny on each location's history. Also, joining in local festivals, like watching the Kite Flying Festival even for a little while, could really help you understand the culture there. And note about taking a cooking class for local recipes, so you can wholly enjoy those treats even after you're back; the obvious end result of this would be you getting an even richer experience; the final outcome of this is that you'll understand the places you visited on a whole new level.
